Youth Fellowship
The Youth Fellowship meet most Sundays from 8pm to about 10pm. It is available to youngsters from 13 to 16years to have fun, food and fellowship with some music thrown in for good measure. Occasionally the fellowship is held at the home of corps members where the youngsters enjoy their hospitality.
The present Youth Fellowship leaders are our officers, Majors Eric & Carol Pearce.
The group visit 'gigs' both Christian and non-Christian. One popular event is 'IXth Hour' held at Newcastle City Hall. Here youngsters from many churches in the area get together for worship and are entertained by bands such as 'YFriday' and speakers like J. John. They also attend Divisional and National Salvation Army Youth events.
