SKY
S.K.Y. or ‘Sunday Kids & Youth’ has been going for some  years now.  The name was thought up by Mary Summers, one of the leaders, in a competition (but she never won a prize!).
It is the ‘classic’ Sunday School including the Primary and Junior Soldier classes.
Because it is held straight after the Sunday morning meeting, it begins with a drink of juice and a biscuit.
The primary will typically have a Bible Story followed by some games and an activity based on that story.
The older children study topics based on the Bible or the Salvation Army.
Alongside these, are the Junior Soldier Classes that look in more depth at the teachings of The Bible and prepare the children for becoming Junior Soldiers.
The whole ‘school’ come together at the end for some singing.
