You may or may not know that our Corps has been without an officer for the past year.  In that time the Corps has been overseen by a working group of soldiers led by Brin Sheriden and Marian Cowper (Corps Treasurer). This working group has had the invaluable support of Major Melvin Fincham (Commander of The Northern Division) and his Staff from DHQ, we thank them all for their help and prayers during this period.

Many people saw this as a difficult time for the Corps and thought it may well stagnate, however, membership has remained stable and congregations at meetings are increasing. We have to sincerely thank all of the visiting pastors from DHQ, officers from other Corps and members of other Churches, but not forgetting those of our own Corps, who have made this possible by leading our meetings and providing our spiritual guidance.

Now, as we draw near to the arrival of our new officers Majors Eric & Carol Pearce in August, we can look forward to a sparkling future again.  With this future in mind, some members of the Corps have made renewed commitments and have agreed to take on new roles as local officers.
